Is There a Market for YA Novels?

I was like the bursting of YA novels when I was in middle school after the Hunger Games came out. It seems to come in waves, Rick Ryordan and then suddenly Hunger Games and then all these other ones that just came out. You know, it doesn't really matter which book you pick up because suddenly they're all the same. Every time a major YA book comes out suddenly everyone's like, I want to be a YA author.
