Jeremiah Walter's Return From the Abyss
New book returning from the abyss is centered on Jeremiah Walter by my count this is at least your sixth or seventh book on Jeremiah all by itself. What is it about a depressing book such as Jeremiah that has kept drawing your interest across the years well let me say first of all that Mylan Berg had written a commentary on Jeremiah in which he experimented with his rhetorical criticism method but he never permitted it to be published so it's a great loss. He was essentially a Jeremiah guy and I think that that Jeremiah lived and spoke and interpreted at a moment quite like our own in which we are watching an old world that we have trusted fall apart and then he sends out hints about the coming restoration
