In the early 1900s, relativity dealt a blow to presentism. In Newtonian classical mechanics, space and time both exist and are separately absolute. What special relativity does is it replaces the idea of slicing space-time into moments of time with a rule that says you cannot move faster than the speed of light. So I'm not going to go through which of these theories is correct, although it's obviously eternalism. If you want more about these theories, you can check out the video for my biggest ideas in the universe series where I talk about time and the nature of time.
