Is There a World Beyond Science? And Where Do Atom Bombs Come From?
Lutang is making a number of important points in the passage just quoted. Where do atom bombs come from? They don't occur naturally. We made them. That says two things. Number one, there's something about human beings which is warped. And lewis is saying, you know, that er, we're strangers here. We don't really belong here. One things that keeps us going is to hope there 's another world that we can't mess up as we've messed up this world and that's where we really belong.
