Barbara Holmes book solidified that for many of our students and many on our staff yourselves included. How does nature and animals play a role in our own contemplative scene? Richard: I was just looking on my kitchen window yesterday. Yesterday just became one request or project after another all day. And I went home frazzled and I saw three doves, morning doves were on the electric wire outside my window. That is reality more than concepts are. But I thought of those doves as no one could deny that they are real. They're taking up a space. They're there.
