The Chonky Dragon

The Chonky Dragon works in part because of that flashback where we see a real dragon, right? Yeah. If the only dragon in the story was the weird chubby one that can't fly and can't breathe fire very well, then that would have been weird. But because they showed us a real dragon earlier, our brains are like, okay, dragons are normal in this world. And it still doesn't feel wrong. It fits perfectly.
