The Soviet Union and the Nuclear War in Bajin

The threat that china was perceiving from the soviet union did not actually match what syvian thought it was trying to convey or tcil. It does seem that ma did not suspect that the soviets would react as strongly as they did, especially in august and september. The nuclear fear was real. And the leadership in bajin was evacuated. As i said, the nuclear forces on alert. But essentially the negotiating tem that, as they said, the tinese thought was a ruse, was actually coming to hope that they could find some time, some kind of an agreement.
