What Happens When You File Things in a File Cabinet?
The filing cabinet was invented in 1898 by the 1920s, and it's still used today. Delis: It just happened naturally based on alphabetical order being not efficient enough. He says anxiety about unbound paper also played a role as did women coming into offices. "I like those sort of accidental stories," he says.
