Is There a Moral Impact to a Poem?
i like poems that raise questions that just kind of hang in the air. The content is intense and stimulating, but what it's responding to is the opacity of power we all experience. And i think you can respond, in good and bad ways, to the sense that you don't know what's going on. I'm thinking of the cuanon people, and then form a community around dispersing it. It's really not so transparent at all. Because that's my experience of the world.
