I have to feel safe with any guest that i invite on to the podcast. I don't speak to anyone who has threatened me with physical violence. If someone's like threatening you on line, you don't then try and be like, how do i buel common ground with this person? That just goes to the very simple rule of safety. You don't want to continually drag someone to a space for conversation where they are going to be humiliated or mocked or belittled or dismissed.

If you are online and especially if you're on social media, it’s likely you’ve engaged with people whose opinions are different from your own. While those conversations can sometimes be informative, they often spiral into a vitriolic whirlpool of hurtful or even threatening comments.
