iwould like to see a greater integration of the insights and mind of the science into social and cultural affairs. This very idea is often met with horror. There's often a parnoid fear that this means that the sciences will take over the humanities, which would be preposterous. The enlightenment pilosop were pretty serious psychologists who relied on their own observations and common sense.
