Are We Going to Get Massive Redundancy in Supply Chains?

Adam Sobel: We're just learning that economic globalization on its own terms isn't sustainable in some way. I mean, it just not resistant enough to crises like this. And what are likely to get is a series of boom bust cycles provoked by the shortages. When we say we're dealing with a i chain crisis, i mean, whose crisis is it? It's certainly a problem for the consumers. But you have to ask yourself, after all, are the companies involved really losing profit as a result of this? At that point it becomes serious and people have to change their business models.
