I'm always amazed by venture capitalists with whom i sat on boards who would blame management when the company didn't do well. And this was the beginning of my thinking about product market fit in the its power. I'm a big believer that companies succeed and fail based on the quality of their product market fit. You have to be really, really patient, because you cannot effect that outcome. So you have to make the right decisions going in, and you have to rely on those decisions....
