Do You Think Interracial Marriages Are a Big Deal?
In laws that have to govern in a large sprawling country with lots of different people, you have lots. So if it goes through the democratic process, you get diversity of input, right? Because presumably, because the law went through this process and voices were heard while people may be disappointed, they don't feel shut out. I also think having a record that people in both parties support this outcome is very valuable. And you don't have the whole set of accusations that was nine people or five people in black robes who aren't elected who made this huge call for the country.
