What's the War Like?

David Frum has written a book about the Second World War. He says it's shocking to see what happened, but not without precedent. The war was fought by democratic states on catic principles and so on. It also involved huge levels of crime and atrocity. Many of the crimes were perpetrated by the western alliance.
