The Cricket on the Half
There's an earlier Christmas story. from the pickwick papers called The Goblins Who Stole the Sexton. So he likes the goblins and he's been thinking about these Christmas stories for a while. It features a cricket who chirps on the half and acts as a kind of guardian angel to the family. I don't know about you, Mike, but it sounds like a Christmas carol with added Pinocchio elements. There's a toy maker. Why not? If you've got a good idea, just run with it.
