Is There a Rotation From Predictability to Truth?
The rotation from predictability to truth is the induction argument from David Hume precisely for that reason. You're gonna have to make an assumption like that anyway to use truth in some other ways. I'm not sure this is gonna be direct a little bit but it's something that has always struck me as a really interesting asymmetry between our pursuit of truth and our pursuit of goodness.
