How to Write a Number in Numerical Notation
Numerals are not always the most efficient way to write a number. For example, it is much quicker to write the year in numerals rather than words. But then again, conciseness isn't the only thing we think about. There's a standard rule in writing that you shouldn't start a sentence with a numerical notation. So if i say, 365 days make up one year, a lot of style guides will say, well, you should write that out,.Rather than putting three, six five.
