The Importance of Purchasing Power Parity Measurements in the UK
In terms of absolute purchasing power, GDP per head in the UK is actually growing rather substantially as well and is above pre-COVID levels. That's really interesting, especially given that immigration has, like, I was sitting there the last couple of years, it's rocketed. It's always been very high compared to Japan. But when you know, look at Japan and relationship to the rest of Asia, it's not even in the bottom five anymore.
