The Effects of War and Military Industrialization on US Energy Use
Military emissions have declined more than what they were afraid of in the 1990s and that it hasn't harmed the US capacity to make war. Wars tended to drive up energy use, not just in the military sector but across the industrial sectors of a society. The increased use of fossil fuels not just for burning but for materials led to the desire to protect it which has driven US foreign policy for decades.
