The Importance of Using the Word Religious
You'll often hear political movements be described as religious. How do you feel about people co-opting the word religious to describe things that are not traditionally associated with belief in supernatural beings, this kind of thing? I think it can be a very lazy intellectual move to make, and if it's done carefully it can be very illuminating.
