Women's History Month - Recognizing Women Who Inspire Me
Gico is celebrating women's history month, and i'm excited to join them by recognizing a woman who inspires me. One of the women who inspires me is a trail blazing balorina, misty copeland,. She overcame incredible obstacles to take centre age as a principal ballarina at the american ballet theatre. Along the way, she helped lift up other young ballarinas of color. And she's been memorializing the too often forgotten history of black ballarinas who came before her.
