The Misoneans of the Late Bronze Age
Misonians were descended from the neolithic and early bronze age inhabitants of greece, descendants of the neolithic farmers of the aegean. They derived most of their ancestry,. not from relatively recent migrants from the step, but thepeople who had already lived there for centuries, millennia beforehand. This is fascinating and revealing because it tells us that rather than a total population replacement, which we have seen elsewhere in this series, they were talking about a small group of newcomers carving out a place for themselves.
