The Importance of Family
When I worked at Goldman, there's been these studies done in the field where they talk about how, when you have a big source of wealth, it doesn't take very many generations to really fuck that up. It takes two generations by the time you get to the grandchildren where they just don't have that connection. And yet they're the children to all these institutions that have sort of already been involved with their father. They do seem very isolated. The characters are in these very isolated situations, which I kind of, to me, those always remind me of a horror film.
