I'd say it kind of started in my PhD work at CERN. It was this funny juxtaposition where there was like a lot of on an old guard of physics who were very keen to have very first principles, understandings. And we're analyzing petabytes and petabytes, millions,. millions, millions of events to find Higgs bosons, signatures of supersymmetry, what have you. So I think that's another interesting bit of it, such a nascent field in terms of that large scale application side that I've just been super interested in exploring that.
