What Is Mesti Thaché?

Mesti Thaché is a word that in English would translate into mixing, but is much more than that. It provides space for two or more different cultural backgrounds coming together in syncretic, unresolved ways in one individual. In this book I follow the term Mesti Tho as it is applied to dog breeding in the Americas. For the most part, European and North and South American nature cultures were so different that many populations of flora and fauna didn't have a chance to interact with each other.
