Are You a Child of God?

The realization that I am wrestling more is a good thing. If you sense him working in your life, that's your assurance. And so what John is saying is, okay, as you're going through all of these checklists, what I want you to question is not whether you're obedient enough but if you've been adopted by God. Have you given yourself to him? Has your relationship with him been, has it been changed to where you now claim status as an adopted son or daughter?
