Tank Warfare - Who Was Your Father's Inspiration?
General fuller's thinking, and others of his generation, was very much based on that idea that if you can have tanks that are so mechanically good. And the second world war demonstrated they were wrong. It is the actions in tunisia and later in italy that demonstrated that you have to learn how to with everybody else. Tanks, aircraft and infantry, all three have to know and be experienced at working with each other.
