What's the Difference Between by Catch and Target Catch?
Green lights were affixed to gill nets every approximately ten meters on the net. The illuminated nets actually caught 63 % less by catch and total, according to a new study. It's unclear if they were actually ttracted to the net or deterred by the illumination. But it was obviously having some sort of visual cue on them.
