The Effects of Population Sizes on Selection in Bacteria

Bacteria have orders of magnitude more larger population sizes than do most mammals including humans. E. coli also has many fewer genes than than we do and it's hard to get back to what were the selection coefficients involved in substituting they saw that sequence in the life so would be an A. But on the other hand I think bacteria are more interesting than the imagining from lab population you don't really know where they live outdoors.
