How to Take Children Seriously Without Any Support
The most difficult thing I found was as I alluded to earlier of finding myself being triggered and having sort of buttons being pressed that I didn't even know I had. The other thing that was very difficult was trying to take my children seriously without any support like extended family or neighbors who are just whatever their explicit ideas about children the way that they are when they're with children is such that you know the children love them, it's more important than their explicit ideas.
