When we see surprisingly gifted kids, we often see really healthy brains that have more activity than most. Cerebellum's the back bottom part of the brain. It's involved in thought coordination and how quickly you can integrate new information. I'm always recommending coordination exercises for kids that do not put them at risk for brain damage.
