"Having those letters with certainty and having the capacity to reproduce them means that you've got this connection," she says. "Even if you laugh it off or you are you joke about it or you apologize for whenever all those rare times when you have to write a card or whatever you do I may say well it's not a big deal but the thing is it's really easy to resolve"

This has become her life-long passion. With more than 20 years in the field, she is sharing her observations about literacy and learning in a "Dear Genius" series of books, with "Harness the Hidden Power in Your ABCs!" being the first. Her hope is that children and adults everywhere can finally find relief and the freedom to soar in their own zone of genius.
