Is There Something Magic in the Brain Waves?

There's a bunch of companies that have these norro feedback head bands. They say you can tell something about someone's state from the rgana norro feedback cound help people relax, maybe quicker. But there aren't any like well conducted, blinded, placibo controlled trials with a reasonable placebo arm showing that the head bands itself provide any benefit above and beyond just doing relaxation or meditation. The device didn't work in the one study that really was testing whether or not similar devices do work.
