Neolithic Axe Factory, Shetland Knives
The Neolithic Axe factories are really very exciting. What we've got is at least 60 square kilometers of area from the georgs of Oya in the north of Northrow. It's all volcanic area and that has what geologists describe as dikes intrusions of rebecite felsite, which is hard and is often bluish in color. There's work going on there at the moment. They're creating axes out of the felsite,. but also what they call Shetland knives.
