The Mystery of Perge's Mystic Meditations
Perge was death, wrote wonderful mystical meditations. He had regular correspondence with some feminine convert and exchanged mystical notes with sisters there. The mystery is that no way to avoid the conclusion this is gold, authentic stuff. Centuries are drawn of the cross. It's the real thing. So that's what bothered so terribly Haxley. How is it possible to have both in the same person, a ruthless manipulator and undoubtedly authentic mystic with the deepest imaginable spiritual experience?
