The Subjective Theory of Value

Ricardian corn model was used to describe the mechanics of economic, uh, production and circulation. The idea that producing commodities has value not only in a technical sense but also as an act of moral right is baked into our culture. Kyle: Neoclassicals taught with subjective theory of value based on difference between what one person is willing to sell a colony for and how much another person will buy it for. We're trying to destabilize all of that by thinking through all the cultural work that has to go into deciding whether something is worth a dollar amount or not.
