Is Your Bonus Based on the Number of Hours You Build?

Auditors' bonuses are not based on the cool stuff they find that's illegal or needs to be caught. Your bonus is probably based on the number of hours you build for or push them. Only a few percent of frauds are detected by the external auditors. Young people want to have a meaningful job and audit, which is one of the key ways that they enter our profession is not meaningful as a whole. You'll never find a definition with all these highfalutin phrases about ESG because there's no metrics for it.
