i think perhaps what we really need is a something like this. Children at play signs have not been shown to reduce speeds or accidents. Traffic engineers hav sort of been banned, even from the official bible of engineering. They won't put them up. But we still seem to see a lot. And basy, you know, city governments usually put them up in response to people complaining about other drivers speeding down their streets and endangering their children.
