Bayard Rustin died a year before I started my work, so I never had the opportunity to interview him. We were able to bring you that tape because our executive producer Sauer Burningham got a handoff of audio tapes on the corner of 23rd and 8th Avenue from Walter Nagel. So we deal tapes in Chelsea. And it was a privilege to be able to share that audio through the podcast.
