Is It Close to Impossible to Predict How the World Turns Out?
Long termism is just a very fragile thing. It's not about projects which take a very long time and require this kind of predictive capacity. If an asteroid collides with earth to morrow, then hii can confidently say that in a thousand years time, am there still won't be any humans walking around. And i don't think that involves a long chain of reasoning. I feel like if you are saying it's close to impossible to predict how the world turns out beyond even fairly short time frames, then i fully agree.
