"I was actually a little nervous in the beginning that it was just a little too much, right to follow," says Christian. "It is always kind of a battle, am with the french people who would be crying when we come around with some episode that is way too long", he adds. The show's writers honed their storytelling chops by focusing on one character at a time and making sure they had enough story beats for each episode.
