The Late to Bed Phase of the French Family Tradition
The French family tradition is very late to bed, late to rise. So why does it always feel to me that southern schools start really early compared to northern schools? They seem to. And then we have a lot more of these random days off just sort of sprinkled through. It's extremely annoying because you have to keep track of a school calendar that has days off that are not connected to any sort of holiday.
