Manchester City beat Manchester United 1-0 in their Premier League clash. The game followed a different trajectory to that of the first half, says Sportsmail's Martin Samuel. It was interesting if you compare it to the blueprint of the Manchester Derby because Arsenal obviously playing very similar style of football to Roy Manchester City are playing. In that Manchester Derby we saw Man United coming out with a flatter back four. And I think the idea was that they were going to try and create space in wide areas and really punish Manchester United by just getting bulk progression in the wide areas.
