The Economic Effects of the Armistice
The economic effects of the defeat and the armistice really had an effect on people's daily lives as well. The germans are requisitioning food, their requisitioning industrial products. All of these things help pay those occupation costs but it's also part of the notsy plan to make sure that people at home in germany do not suffer the effects of the war like they had during the first world war.
