West Point, New York

West Point started in 1802 and is the site of a former Revolutionary War fort on the Hudson River. In 1817, they get a new superintendent of West Point named Sylvanas Thayer. He makes rules against playing cards against tobacco and against reading novels among other rules. One of the few exceptions is he allows alcohol consumption two days a year.
