How to Use ES Lint to Improve Performance
It's tricky, but not a large amount of code. We've seen it change performance on subsets of our repo, anything from 11% worse performance in some areas to 70% better. So we're very scared of this thing. I am personally terrified of it. It is a really nice API and it'll simplify other people's code bases and oftentimes improve type check and performance quite a bit. Really, I think cloud out preset configs. Take a look at your linter config, see if you're on TypeScript, be a slant six and try starting from scratch,. Just enabling the extended recommended rules from our plugins and you use enable type checking, see what happens
