LinkedIn: How to Use Vertical Format Video to Increase Engagement
In 2019 video didn't perform really well and and text posts were the main way that people got a lot of quote-unquote engagement or views. So I leaned in very early to video content knowing that the depth of engagement of someone watching a seven-minute video of mine is much better Than someone seen a post that say that says marketing isn't magic and a text post that gets a million views. On LinkedIn, I've been mixing in more image-based content so just taking an image and writing about that which tends to get more engagement than a video overall. The most emerging opportunity on LinkedIn is leveraging vertical format video similar to other platforms like a tick-tock or an Instagram reel
