Aaron Carroll: I wouldn't be surprised if somebody tried to pull exactly that maneuver a long time ago and it did not work out. If you borrowed against your seat on the New York Stock Exchange in order to have enough capital to trade on the Stock Exchange using your seat, then you'd end up in a really tough situation. He says 70% of people thought SPF was likely to go to prison for more than one year. "I think that the uncertainty in that question is partly just a function of what does law enforcement look like in the Bahamas or where does he get tried"
