As an african american economist, i recognize the ways in which many of our models are built on very strong assumptions. That's a lot of what impacts people of color. The byden administration has proposed a variety of reforms to address racial iniquities in criminal justice and voting rights. Byden has also proposed direct investments in minority communities to address the wealth gap.
